Canadian Farmer in Alberta Is 97-Years-Old and Refuses to Retire

Some people are just born to do what they have always been doing. Roscoe Grant is one of those fortunate people. At the age of 97, he is still farming on his Alberta farm just south-east of Wetaskiwin. Once he considered retiring, but it was a short-lived span of time. His grandchildren reached an age to take over some of the work their grandfather had been doing, but Roscoe was not happy just sitting and watching. Grant’s son Neil said his Dad felt left out and was going stir crazy. If you are considering relocating to Canada, contact Canadian Visa Expert. Grant’s farm has been in his family for six generations. As a young man, he tried other work, but couldn’t stay away from the farm. His grandson Jarvis says his grandfather is a young man at heart. His advice is to keep working past the retirement age. There are many job opportunities available in Canada.
